Letter G: G is for Goat, Billy Goat Gruff Magnets, Help the Goat Shape Review (Day 2)

1) G is for Goat from Crystal & Comp:

  • Cut out the goat pieces, or you can print a template from the link provided.
  • Help your toddler glue the pieces on.
  • Hang finished project on the refrigerator.

3) Billy Goat Gruff Magnets from a Spoonful of Learning: Easton is obsessed with the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff! He loved playing with these magnets and reenacting the story.

  • Print and color Billy Goat Gruff Clipart (print onto white card stock).
  • Optional: Laminate and place magnets on the back of the pieces. Play with them on a cookie sheet.

3) Help the Goat Shape Review: Now that the troll is gone, help the goat bring the shapes across the bridge to the green grass.
  • Play Goat
  • Felt Shapes (I made ours from felt sheets. I traced shape puzzle pieces on our felt sheets for a good shape outline and cut out the pieces. I glued a diaper tab on the back, so it would stick to our felt board).
  • Felt Board
  • Bridge (You can use a balance beam, chair, ottoman, or whatever you'd like for the bridge).
  1. Review the shapes/colors as you go.
