Play & Learn

Homeschool (ages 4-6): Last year, we started a homeschool curriculum called: The Good and The Beautiful. Watch a video tutorial to learn what we loved about the curriculum and a sneak peek of what it's all about on my instagram page @newswithnaylors. The kindergarten and first grade levels come with a math and literacy book. We supplemented our art, science and history with the ideas below:

Themes (age 3-5): Once we knew our letters, we moved on to themes. For each theme/week, we focused on: one letter, numbers, sensory, gross motor, art, treat, outing, fine motor, rhyme, shape, science and colors.

Alphabet Activities (age 3 years - 5 years): Once my oldest knew all of his letters, we started working on upper case AND lowercase letters. For each letter of the alphabet you will find activities for: beginning handwriting, name recognition, beginning sounds, art, sensory bins, science, uppercase/lowercase recognition and alphabet as a whole.

Letter of the Week (age 18 months - 3 years): When my oldest was 18 months old, we started a Letter of the Week Series. You will find a booklist with five themed days for each letter of the Alphabet. You get it all in one letter: books, colors, simart, simple math, songs, sensory, science and the alphabet as a whole. You can split/pick and choose which activities to do. These are just suggestions.
