We are learning about King Benjamin's speech (Mosiah 1-3 in the Book of Mormon) this week, and for our family night, we are talking about serving others (Mosiah 2:17). I found this idea from The Lean Green Bean and thought it would be such a cute idea to do right now, especially with everyone being quarantined. We miss our grandparents and cousins in Utah, so we are going to mail them a hug. Download for Free: Mail a Hug (with note!) Step One: Trace your child's upper body onto a piece of long paper.   Step Two: Have your child decorate their body with markers, crayons, stickers, etc. We chose markers. Step Three: Cut out the body and fold the arms in. Step Four: Mail the body and note to a dear friend or family member.

We've done a few different Easter/Resurrection lessons in the past, so I wanted to compile them all into one post. Each of these activities are FREE to download in hopes to help children easily learn more about Jesus and His Resurrection. Easter Week (FREE resource) : This is what we did last year, and we're planning to do it again this year. Each day (starting the Sunday before Easter), you read and discuss one scripture reference and then place the corresponding picture onto the Easter Wreath. The scripture references match what Jesus did each day leading up to His resurrection. This will be something really simple for us to do each morning for our gospel study.
