Letter J: Letter J Jellyfish Hunt, Jelly Fish Craft, Pet Jelly Fish, Visit Jelly Fish at an Aquarium (Day 4)

1) Letter J Jelly Fish Hunt from The Measured Mom: I love these worksheets. You can print only uppercase letters, only lowercase letters, or a combination of both.
  • Use bingo chips, chocolate chips or Do-a-Dot Markers to stamp all the J's.

2) Jelly Fish Craft Options:
  • J is for Jelly Fish from The Measured Mom: Draw or print a jelly fish outline (from link provided) and paint with a sponge paint brush. After the paint dries, glue on googly eyes and glue the jelly fish onto a large Letter J.

  • Paper Bag Jelly Fish from No Time for Flashcards: Paint a paper bag with different colors of paint and add sparkles if you'd like. Once the paint dries, glue on googly eyes and cut long slits into the bottom of the paper bag making tentacles.

3) Make a Pet Jelly Fish from Bhoom Play: This is one of those activities that mom does most of the prep work. Easton enjoyed playing with the finished project though. He loved turning the bottle upside down to see the jelly fish float to the top. Next time, I'll make a smaller jelly fish.
  • Transparent, plastic grocery bag
  • Plastic Water Bottle
  • Thread
  • Food Coloring
  • Scissors
