Letter E: Alphabet Egg Hunt, Letter E Book, Letter E Handprint Art (Elephant), Letter E Music Time (Day 1)
1) Alphabet Egg Hunt from Preschool Alphabet: My two loves any type of hunt, so I know he'll love this. You'll need:
2) Letter E Book from The Measured Mom: Read this short, eight page book together. Point out the letter E and talk about the pictures together.
- Alphabet Page (link to come)
- Matching Alphabet Tiles
- Plastic Eggs
- Cut out the alphabet tiles and hide one letter inside each egg.
- Hide the eggs around the room.
- When your child finds an egg, have him match the letter tile to the same letter on the alphabet page.
2) Letter E Book from The Measured Mom: Read this short, eight page book together. Point out the letter E and talk about the pictures together.
3) Letter E Handprint Art (Elephant): This week we made an elephant! You'll need:
- Washable grey paint (I mixed white and black paint together).
- Paintbrush
- Black Marker
- White Paper
- Paint your child's hand grey and help him/her stamp it onto a piece of white paper.
- When the paint dries, draw on an eye, ear and let marks.
- Draw a big Letter E on the top and hang it on the fridge.
