Letter K: Alphabet Soup Kitchen, Letter K Book, Letter K Handprint Art (kite), Letter K Music Time (Day 1)
1) Alphabet Soup Kitchen: We love themed tubs and this one did not disappoint. Make "alphabet soup" in the tub. Identify the letters as you go. Click the link for other tub activities.
2) Letter K Book from The Measured Mom: Identify the letter K and pictures as you read through this short, eight page book.
3) Letter K Handprint Art (Kite): My two chose to make a blue kite. We painted his hand with blue tempera paint and stamped it on a piece of white card stock. Once it dried, I drew the ribbon and Letter K with a permanent marker. His cute little handprint will never get old.
- Foam Tub Letters OR Plastic Letters
- Pots and Pans (we love this IKEA set)
- Mixing Spoons, Strainer, Etc.
- Optional: Add shaving cream or food coloring for more fun!
