Letter T: Toothbrush Painting, Tooth Sensory Bin, Tooth Play Dough Set

Toothbrush Painting: I love this idea that I found on the Letter T Crafts list from the measured mom blog. I drew a tooth on a piece of white card stock and let Easton "paint" with a toothbrush!

Tooth Sensory Bin: Easton LOVES sensory bins, so I occasionally do them more than once a week. My husband is currently in dental school, so he brought home some supplies to use for our activity today. Other items we bought at the dollar store. Here's what we used: toothpaste, halloween teeth, plastic teeth (from dad's dental kit), floss, toothbrushes, drill, forceps and dental instruments (the last three items are from our Play-Doh Doctor Drill N Fill set). Easton was the dentist and we had a lot of patients come to see him today (plastic toy animals and Mr. Potato Head).

Tooth Play Dough Set: My mom bought Easton this Play-Doh Doctor Drill N Fill and Easton had a lot of fun playing with it! It comes with three colors of play dough (white-teeth, red-tooth paste, silver-cavities), two tooth molds, forceps, battery operated drill, toothbrush, roller to make braces, and a mouth. Easton loved drilling the cavities out of the teeth!

Other Tooth-Themed Ideas:

Tooth Fairy Play Dough: You need conditioner (1 cup), cornstarch (2.5 cups) and food coloring to make this fairy dough. Looks fun!
Tooth Experiments from luvprek: These experiments show what soda and other drinks can do to our teeth. I want to do this with Easton when he's older.
