Easter Science, Sensory & Songs
EASTER SCIENCE.
I found so many fun Easter Science ideas from Little Bins for Little Hands. A few of them we've done in the past - including the oobleck, slime and egg eruptions. My boys loved them.
Easter Oobleck. You can add so many different Easter themed items into Oobleck. Easter eggs, easter themed cookie cutters, stretchy bunnies, slinkies (one of our favorites!), etc.
Easter Egg Slime. Little Bins for Little Hands is the best website to find tested and GOOD slime recipes. There are a bunch of different versions to make - foam slime, fluffy slime, liquid starch, borax OR saline slime.
Surprise Egg Eruptions. Mix baking soda and water together to form an egg and hide a little plastic toy inside. Dry the eggs overnight. Have your children drop the eggs in different colored vinegar to reveal a surprise. Super fun and bubbly!
Plastic Egg Races. This would be fun to add different items in the eggs to experiment with weight and how fast/slow the eggs roll. "Exploring Ramps & Gravity".
Sink the Egg. Add different items inside the eggs to see if it makes the egg sink or float.
Egg Rockets. I know my boys would love these. I found the eggs pictured below at the dollar store. If you want a mild result, use this recipe from the Stem Laboratory. We made ghost rockets last year and I want to try the same recipe with the eggs this year. I think it will work better adding the corn starch.
Crystal Easter Eggs.
EASTER SENSORY.
Water & Easter Egg Play from Stimulating Learning. My three requested doing this sensory bin.
Water and Glowing Easter Egg Play from Think Crafts. Same idea, but with glow in the dark eggs. Fill the eggs with a glow bracelet (you can often find these at the Dollar Store.) This would even be fun in the tub!
EASTER SONGS & ACTION RHYMES.

Easter Rice Sensory Play from Little Bins for Little Hands. Any type of filler would be fun - whether it's rice, beans, flour, cereal, etc. Just add some plastic eggs, scoops, cups and little dollar store trinkets.
Easter Foam. I found a set of foam on sale at TJ Maxx. It would be so much fun to add Easter eggs and other Easter items to it. Of course, play dough and kinetic sand would also be a hit.
