The Spirit can speak to our hearts. Helaman 13:2-5. When Samuel the Lamanite was commanded to preach to the Nephites, Heavenly Father helped him know in his heart what he should say. Scripture. Teach the children that while we speak to each other using words, the Holy Ghost can communicate through feelings in our hearts. Read the Helaman 13:2-5 and have your children either hold their hands over their hearts or make a heart with their hands each time you read the word "heart". This week, we are PLAYING GAMES to learn about three important principles from Come Follow Me. The Lord wants me to Remember Him. I Can Build My Foundation on Jesus Christ Helaman 5:12 The Wise & Foolish Man  from News with Naylors. Use a similar idea to teach about how Christ is our rock. We used a brick and bristle blocks for the wise man's house and you can use sand for the foolish man's house. Squirt with a squeeze bottle as the "rains come".  Building a Strong Foundation from Making Life Blissful. Use Jenga Blocks to teach how we can have a strong foundation in Christ. If we take away one thing (like prayer), it may not seem to matter, but it weakens our foundation. If you continue to NOT do important things, eventually the foundation falls. Read the verses and talk about how each group prepared for battle.  Although we aren't in a physical war today, we are in a spiritual war against Satan, who doesn't want us to keep God's commandments.
