Mummy Hot Dogs

We love Mummy Hot Dogs and make them every year at Halloween. We recently learned about mummies in homeschool, and made these for lunch before Excavating Mummies. Here's what you'll need:

  • Hot Dogs (we use Teton Valley)
  • Refrigerated Crescent Rolls (we use Annie's)
  • Pizza Cutter
  • Eye Tooth Picks (Optional)

Step One: Open the crescent rolls and form the dough together to make a long rectangle. Use a pizza cutter to make strips in the dough.

Step Two: Give your kids a hot dog and 1-2 strips of dough. Have your kids wrap the dough around the hot dog - just like a mummy.

Step Three: Place the mummies on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.  You'll know they're done when the crescent dough is golden brown.

Step Four: Add Eye Tooth Picks (optional) and EAT!
